Get to know Eric
Eric grew up in the Hilltop neighborhood of Denver, and now lives in the Wash Park area. He graduated from Manual High School (class of 86′) and went on to study management and Spanish at the University of Colorado at Boulder (class of 91′).
He’s been with Excel Roofing for over 20 years. His interests include travel, tennis, soccer, and running (as long as his lower back holds up).
Because Eric has focused on central Denver homes for the last 20 years, there’s not much he hasn’t seen or doesn’t know how to handle. This experience is invaluable in working on complex Denver projects. Working on these homes presents unique challenges. Some of these roofs have 5 or 6 layers of shingles (even though code says a maximum of 3 layers). Eric also says that old Denver garages are common in his area. These structures are upwards of 90 years old and often have deteriorating brick, which require structural work to be done as well as the roof replacement.
Eric’s 20+ years of experience working on Denver’s historic homes makes him a true roof expert.
