Henry Bretz

Vice President

Henry Bretz – Vice President | Excel Roofing Colorado

Henry Bretz was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, and has a strong interest in building businesses and helping teams grow. As Vice President of Excel Roofing, he supports company operations, strategic planning, and overall direction across Colorado and Wyoming.

Henry is a certified roofing professional, credentialed by leading manufacturers and the Colorado Roofing Association (CRA). His certifications include tile roofing systems, low-slope and commercial roofing systems, metal roofing, asphalt shingle roofing, and synthetic roofing materials. His experience supports both residential roof replacement and commercial roofing projects throughout the region.

He can also be heard on 630 KHOW, where he shares roofing insights alongside Tom Martino, helping homeowners better understand roofing systems and contractor expectations.

In addition to his role in operations, Henry contributes to the overall direction.

Outside of work, he enjoys riding his snowmobile in the Colorado backcountry and mountain biking.

Dominic Herrera

General Manager

Dominic Herrera – General Manager | Excel Roofing Colorado & Wyoming

Dominic Herrera is a Colorado native, born in Denver and raised in the Vail Valley, where he developed the strong work ethic and resilience that define his leadership style today.

He began his roofing career in 1999, starting with tar and gravel roofing systems and advancing through commercial roofing, residential roof replacement, framing, windows, siding installation, and full home building. His extensive hands-on experience across both residential and commercial construction gives him a comprehensive understanding of building systems from the structural level up.

At Excel Roofing, Dominic previously served as Production Manager and Sales Manager, strengthening both operational efficiency and revenue growth. He is known for holding high standards of accountability, demanding excellence in workmanship, and leading teams with a results-driven mindset.

Leadership Across Colorado & Wyoming Roofing Operations

Today, Dominic serves as General Manager, overseeing large-scale roofing projects, commercial roofing systems, storm restoration, insurance claim coordination, and internal operations across Colorado and Wyoming. His leadership ensures:

Based out of Excel Roofing’s headquarters in Englewood and residing in Aurora, Dominic directs roofing operations statewide, ensuring every project meets the highest standards for durability, craftsmanship, and long-term performance in Colorado’s and Wyoming’s demanding climates.

Brock Hayward

Sales Manager

Brock – Sales Manager | Excel Roofing Denver, Colorado

Brock grew up in Lakewood, Colorado, and graduated from Green Mountain High School before continuing his education on the East Coast, where he played collegiate football at Southern Virginia University. The discipline, leadership, and work ethic he developed as a collegiate athlete now fuel his success in the roofing industry.

Today, Brock serves as the Sales Manager in Denver, Colorado for Excel Roofing. As a roofing expert, he specializes in residential and commercial roofing solutions, storm damage assessments, insurance claim support, and helping homeowners choose durable systems built for Colorado’s demanding climate. His product knowledge and customer-first approach ensure every client receives honest guidance and high-quality results.

Based in Denver, Brock works closely with property owners throughout the Front Range, delivering dependable service, clear communication, and roofing solutions designed for long-term performance.

Outside of work, Brock enjoys spending time with his wife, Holly, and their three daughters. He loves being outdoors in the Colorado mountains, relaxing at the beach when he can, and cheering on the Denver Broncos and Colorado Rockies.
