Neil is originally from Lakewood, CO and has lived most of his life in the Denver metro area. Neil attended Bear Creek High School. After graduation, Neil played two seasons of football for Western Colorado University. Neil finished his degree at the University of Northern Colorado and obtained a business management degree with an entrepreneurship minor.

Neil has worked many hands-on jobs including working as a hardscape, landscaper, and tennis court constructor across Northern Colorado. Most recently, Neil was in the High Desert of California selling solar panels for two years before joining Excel. Neil loves to golf, fish and snowboard in his off time.
